We also save small notes in your browser's session storage (not cookies): a random visit ID for our visit statistics and, if you close the ad bar at the bottom of the screen on a phone, a note that keeps it closed for the rest of your visit. They are removed when you close the tab.
We do not use advertising cookies or social media tracking.
Visit statistics
We count visits with Simple Site Stats, our own analytics service. Its cookie and visit ID are used only to count visits. They are not used for ads and are not shared with advertisers. To keep your visits out of our statistics, block simplesitestats.com in your browser or with a content blocker. More is in our Privacy Policy.
Google Fonts
Our fonts load from Google Fonts. Your browser connects to Google to download them, which shares your IP address with Google. See Google's privacy policy for how Google handles it.
Ad partners
The ads on this site are our own and set no cookies. If an advertising partner, such as Google AdSense, Raptive or Mediavine, is ever added, this page will name it, explain the cookies it sets and link to its opt-out tools before its ads appear.
How to control cookies
- Your browser. Every major browser lets you see, block and delete cookies in its settings. Blocking the essential cookie may stop our forms from working.
- Ad choices. For ads from advertising networks on any website, you can limit personalized ads through Google's My Ad Center, the Digital Advertising Alliance and the Network Advertising Initiative.
